Is this the way that it's always been?

Could it ever have been different?

  • Listening to: "A new machine, part 1" - the Pink Floyd

When I was a younger girl, I wanted to grow up to be Hannibal Lecter.

It's hard to get perspective right when you only have one eye.

thanks for faving Aza!^^

how was your weekend!?
:iconladyaza:
Absolute insanity of the best kind - and it continues today as I am on vacation!

And you're welcome - how could I not? That picture is quite stunning in some quietly terrifying way. It makes you appear gorgeous, Alec - I'm having a tough time articulating it...course I've been more awake too... I need coffee...

:aww:

yay vacation!^^

so what ya gonna do with your time off!?
relax maybe draw, or are you going somewhere?
:iconladyaza:
I am staying home and laying on the beach with an old friend; we've been having fun scaring the straights. Something about a 5 ft. woman and a 6'8" man laying on the beach seems to freak people out just a hair...oh well. Everyone's a closet pedophile, apparently. I believe I'll be putting my hair up in ponytails tomorrow and calling him "Daddy" all day...

Fun is as fun does, no? ;)

Relax, yes. Draw - no. Drawing is not relaxing. I do it because I am called by something within me to draw; that's probably why I draw people 98% of the time - because of some deep-seating physical attraction. Hell, I don't know. But I've never enjoyed drawing - I just do it well enough to pass the time. It expresses something within me, but I'm not sure what! It's always been the most beastly kind of work, no longer new and exciting since I've been doing it since I could hold a damn pencil... as the Good Doctor says, "Old whores don't do much giggling."

But don't get me wrong; drawing you was fun enough. :)

It had to do with the fact that I don't know you nearly at all - so I could guess at what the expressions on your pretty face could mean and wonder how close to the truth I could be with them.

I thought you were married? LOL

fun is as fun does?.. yes :)

it's funny, drawing doesn't relax me either, it makes me get frustrated;
and indirectly it makes me forget things so in a sense it can relax me!
but i always feel good when a drawing turns out!
and of course that's not always the case! hah
but I think your really good at it; very talented^^
